The main aim of the PerHeart (Personalized ICT solution to reduce re-hospitalization rates in heart failure elderly patients suffering from comorbidies) project is to develop a health-monitoring platform, which would help to reduce hospitalization rates of the people suffering from heart-related problems.
The project is carried out by an international consortium consisting of:
- Centrul IT pentru Stiinta si Tehnologie SRL (Romania)
- Medical University of Warsaw (Poland)
- ECOTOPIAS Partner (Denmark)
- Warsaw University of Technology (Poland)
- Bay Zoltán Nonprofit Ltd. for Applied Reasearch (Hungary)
- Institut für Sozialforschung und Sozialwirtschaft (Germany)
The main goal of the IoT Systems Research group is to design and implement a solution for gait and movement parameters analysis. The gathered data will be used to assess the overall health state of the monitored person and possibly predict future health problems.
